Scope disclaimer: We provide handyman-level light fixture installation — like-for-like swaps at existing electrical box locations. We are not licensed electricians (C-10). We replace existing fixtures with new ones using the existing wiring and mounting box. We do not run new wiring, add circuits, relocate fixtures, or perform any work requiring an electrical permit. That said, swapping a dated 1990s flush mount for a modern pendant, replacing a builder-grade vanity bar with something with actual style, or installing a ceiling fan where a light fixture exists (with a fan-rated box) — these are jobs we do every week across Los Angeles.
LA Light Fixture Installation
- Ceiling fixtures — Flush mounts, semi-flush mounts, chandeliers, pendants, track lighting. Existing electrical box must be present. We mount, wire, and test.
- Ceiling fans — Installed where a light fixture currently exists, provided the electrical box is fan-rated. If the box isn't fan-rated, we can often swap the box. Fan assembly, mounting, wiring, and balancing included.
- Wall sconces and vanity lights — Hallway sconces, bathroom vanity bars, picture lights. Replacing existing fixtures at the same location.
- Outdoor fixture replacement — Porch lights, patio lights, security floodlights. Like-for-like replacement at existing boxes.

Are you a licensed electrician?
No. We are a handyman service providing like-for-like fixture swaps. We replace existing light fixtures with new ones at the same location using the existing wiring. For new circuits, wiring runs, or panel work, you need a licensed C-10 electrical contractor.
Can you install a chandelier in my LA apartment?
Yes, if there's an existing electrical box at the location. We mount the chandelier, wire it, and ensure the box is rated for the fixture's weight. For very heavy chandeliers, we may need to reinforce the box — we'll assess during the estimate.
